So I haven’t announced this online yet, but I am actually taking a college class this Summer, which is probably why you guys are seeing a slow down on videos from me. Any how, for the first week, we had to memorize all the bones of the skull. I decided to change up my studying method a little bit and make my study time a bit more creative. As you can see I repainted a lateral view of the human skull.
If you guys remember form my last watercolor post, I feel extremely unconfident with watercolors. I am not used to using color, let alone paints, but I must say I’m pretty proud of my outcome here. This project forced me to really practice shading with colors and creating depth. The only thing I couldn’t decide was weather to label them or not (which was my original idea). Well… when in doubt, do it on the computer in paint. There’s nothing like “Control”+”Z”! :)
What do you guys think? I think I actually like it labeled. It gives it more of a technical/ House M.D. feel.

Love them both: so much nicer than the usual anatomic drawings. And for learning good to have both versions.
Thanks for sharing.
