Hello loves! I hope you've all been well. I would like to, first and foremost, apologize for my hiatus. Life has been really hectic, so it's been a long time since my last post, or my last video on Youtube.
So what have I been up to?
I don't know if you guys remember, but a while back I announced that I was accepted into my radiologic technology program. I have scoliosis so it's been a profession I've been interested in for a long time. My studies have definitely been leaving me sleep deprived (any maybe deprived of a life), but I'm doing really well and I'm enjoying the learning experience. I will always love fashion, blogging, and YouTubing, but I feel like I've found another niche of mine. :)
Also, what's new?
*Drum roll please* Ian and I, are no longer together. A lot of you guys have been reaching out to me via Facebook, Instagram, or Youtube, asking me where my ring is, or why you guys haven't seen Ian in awhile. We actually separated back at the end of July 2013, after our Disneyland trip. It was something I didn't want to speak publicly about yet, but I feel so lucky that my followers were so kind to respectively ask me how I was doing, without any indication of poking, or prodding, or any rude questions. For that I am so grateful.
I don't want any of you guys to point any fingers, or put any stories in your head. Please just leave it as: it happened. We can do nothing but learn from our experiences, and I'm moving on fro. Part of moving on, for me, is finally being able talk about this to you guys, and to the world. You can watch my video blog about this here.
Of course in an experience like this, it is hard on anyone, and it was hard for me. I'm not a crier, but I did go into this reflective state where I kind of looked back on the relationships of my past, and just tried reconnect to what I could learn from it all. It's so interesting thinking about how far you've come, and how you've changed how you handle things, as you've gotten older and wiser. I just think I've handled this road block really well and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me. :)
Until next time, xoxo JN
