Happy Friday everyone! I've survived my second week in school, so I've decided to reward myself with a new self-made mani! I had some of my Instagram followers pick my base color and they went with Bikini So Teeny by Essie! Then I turned into a very cool-toned Summer gradient using Mint Sorbet by Sally Hansen. Finally, inspired by triangular Instagram frames, I used a white nail polish, with a thin brush, to make this white design. It's really different from what I usually do, but I hope you like it!
Hey loves! Tomorrow I leave for California, so it only seemed fit to do the perfect mani for the occasion! I bought these Revlon Nail Art Appliqués last month just for this occasion! I was wearing "Tart Deco" by Essie when I bought it, and I thought they would go together so well! (Unfortunately, these appliques are discontinued now.)
The pack comes with 18 strips and I used 2 of them on my pointer fingers, and Tart Deco on the rest of the nails. Then to add a little Disney touch, I added a small Micky silhouette to each of my middle fingers using white acrylic paint.
You don't always see them, but you know they're always there.
Happy new years everyone! A new year means a fresh start on things and I'm starting with freshly manicured nails! I know it's still technically winter but as you can see from the nails above, I can not wait for Spring fashion!
To do the nails, I used my tape striping technique (explained here). The stripes are White Out by Sally Hansen & Green With Envy by Maybelline's Color Show. And then, as usual, the glitter is Set in Stone by Essie over Graphite by Chanel. I really love this color combo. It's so refreshing from all the dark nail colors I've been wearing and is great for ringing in the new year!
