Combats + Shorts

I've always been someone that would go out of my way to wear heels at any occasion I could, but lately, I've wanted to try to mix things up. Don't get me wrong, my heel collection isn't going anywhere! I just wanted to add more variety to my shoe collection, so I had something besides flats and sandals on my laid back days.

With all the traveling I've done recent to warmer climates, I've grown to love more laid back Summer looks. Also with Fall coming in a few months, what better transition piece, than some classic black combat boots? They add an edge to any outfit and are incredibly easy to walk in! They can easily go with any leggings or shorts for those warm Summer days. As the seasons transition, I'm excited to learn how else I can style these new kicks of mine! :) - JEN

Cowl Neck

I don't usually gravitate towards cowl neck sweaters, because they can sometimes shorten the appearance of your neck, but this Express one seems to be a particular favorite of mine.

They're great for lazy Saturdays like this, where you're just studying at home, and you want to keep your neck warm, but you don't want to be that weird family member walking around with a scarf inside the house. lol

Also, I hope you're all having a better Saturday than I am.  I got to sleep in this morning, so I made myself a fancy late brunch, but Seattle seems to be trying to rain the entire sky down today, so I'm staying warm indoors, and studying. Look at them books!

I've got 4 exams coming up next week, so wish me luck! JN

Fall Lookbook

Hey loves! After weeks of filming and editing, between school, work, and life, I've finally finished my fall lookbook for you guys! I know I usually do a voiceover with these videos but this time I just decided to let the music set the mood and the clothes so the talking. I hope you enjoy! xoxo JN

Street Art in Seattle

Hey loves! It seems like decades since my last post, but if you must know, I recently started a new chapter in my life. I was accepted into my radiographic technology program & started school on Tuesday.

My two-year program will be forcing me to wear scrubs 4 out of 7 days a week, but expect my style posts to continue, especially on the weekends! :)

Moving forward, today I headed into Seattle for an Italian cooking class at Al Boccalino. Two hours and a great brunch later, I felt more knowledgable and the need to walk off my meal over some Starbucks.

During my walk, I came across a lot of great graffiti art. I'm actually from Philadelphia, home to a lot of great murals, so I've always have a deep respect for graffiti art.

On top of that, I got to bust out my new slouchy Garage cardigan and over-the-knee JustFab boots. Fall is almost here and I can't be more excited for pops of oxblood and oversized sweaters! What are you guys most excited for this Fall?

Hey loves! Today I headed to the Evergreen Speedway for day one of Formula Drift and look what I found! I've been obsessed with the Scion FR-S (or BR-Z) ever since I heard it going into production between Subaru and Toyota, back in 2010.

When the day comes for me to trade in my Scion tC, the FR-S will definitely be one of the top contenders for my next daily driver! I can see a lot of fun projects (and videos) out of that one!
