White Christmas

What a special Christmas it is!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas with your family & friends! Here it the Pacific Northwest, we've been fortunate enough to have our first white Christmas, in a long while!

I've already worked 48 hours in the last week & I have another 44 hours in the next week to go, so it's truly wonderful to have today off. Not only that, to have been able to spend time with my extended family last night, see it snow, then be able to relax on Christmas Day.

My family & I woke up early this morning & go enjoy the fresh snow outside. Finally got to bust out this Jacket I've been saving from Zara. My friend Shahrzad & I officially leave for Paris in two weeks, and can bet I'll be bringing this pink treasure with me! Anyways, happy holidays! - Love Jen

Venice Neutrals

Hey loves! :) It sure feels so good to be back in California! The weather here is just the perfect temperature to me, and there are beautiful places to visit everywhere!

My family and I flew in yesterday afternoon and decided to spend our first morning in the Los Angeles area, exploring the outside of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, otherwise known as LACMA. Turns out it's closed on Wednesdays. Who knew?!

It was fine anyways, because the weather was so nice my parents and I quite enjoyed our walk through the park. The real prize was seeing the Urban Light installment by Chris Burden. It's a popular place to shoot in LA by a lot of bloggers I've followed over the years, and I'm happy to finally see it in person. I can't wait to visit it again at night when the lights are on!

I also got to try out my new Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classical camera. (Wow that's a long name). I love how vintage it looks!

After that we headed to Venice Beach!

I can't believe how close this seagull let me get to it! I was an arms length away for this shot!

I hope you guys enjoyed joining me for the day at Venice Beach and LACMA! After these pictures were taken above, I ended up doing the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, so of course I held back on taking more pictures after that haha. (Thank my cousin Donald for nominating me). It was funny because I had to do the challenge twice, because my mom forgot to push record the first time (my dad enjoyed it tough). Anyways, I hope you all have had the chance to donate (link is above) and I'll talk to you all again soon! xoxo JEN

Christmas Thoughts & OOTD

Front 1 V1.jpg

Hey loves! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! :) I sure feel like I did! I spent Christmas Eve with my closest friends and family, and spent Christmas day the same way my parents and I spend it every year: relaxing at home in our jammies.

This year, it was just my luck though. I woke up sick on Christmas day and spent most of the day sleeping (for total of 14 hours). Honestly, I didn't mind though. I made it through my first super stressful semester without being sick, so this was as good of a time as any.

I just feel so happy to have such wonderful people in my life right now and I'm so thankful for everything they've given me this Christmas, and in life! I was so busy with school that it almost didn't feel like the holidays for me. Now though, I finally feel completely unwound and ready for the new year. :) - J E N

Fall Lookbook

Hey loves! After weeks of filming and editing, between school, work, and life, I've finally finished my fall lookbook for you guys! I know I usually do a voiceover with these videos but this time I just decided to let the music set the mood and the clothes so the talking. I hope you enjoy! xoxo JN

White Lace & Mustard Bags

Hey loves! Yesterday I had the wonderful pleasure of attending the 2013 Downtown Seattle Rocks the Runway fashion show. The event took place in the heart of Pacific Place and it was beautiful!

For the event, I jumped at the opportunity to wear the new 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target bag I got just 3 days ago, when the line launched (you can watch my haul here). Ever since Fall started, I've really been super into black and white (as you can see from my Pinterest), so the bag was the perfect pop of Fall color!

In the event itself though, I occasionally went jacket free, exposing an old lace H&M dress I got months as a Summer piece. It's amazing how you can change the look and feel of a piece just by what you pair with it.

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed the look & the read. I apologize if I look a little tired in the photos (these were taken after the event). I'll see you guys again in a few days with the photos from the event. Take care!
